JOSEPH KENNEDY FOUNDATION LAUNCHES SOCCER TOURNAMENT TO UNEARTH TALENT IN MWATATE WARD

A remarkable display of commitment to community development and talent nurturing, Joseph Kennedy Mwalegha, the Ward Member of the County Assembly for Mwatate, has taken a giant leap by launching a soccer tournament under the patronage of the Joseph Kennedy Foundation. This initiative is poised to address the long-standing issue of talent underdevelopment in the Mwatate ward, situated in Taita-Taveta County, Kenya.

On October 28th, he unveiled a soccer tournament that showcases his unwavering dedication to uplifting the community. A multitude of football clubs within the ward, including Real Gonga FC, Singila FC, Iwanu FC, Mzedu FC, Mwatate All Stars FC,Teita Fc,Hard Rock FC and many more, have enthusiastically joined the competition. The opening match between Real Gonga FC and Singila FC set the stage for an exciting journey with a thrilling 2:2 draw, leaving fans eager for more.
